Temple Childcare Swapping

For you sisters who are in need of childcare while you attend the temple and would like to join a swap with other families in the ward I am putting together a list and I am planning to organize it in a way that each sister or couple will be able to attend once a month other than on Ward Temple night. We are going to reserve Ward Temple night to the youth to babysit but we want to encourage other temple attendance as well. I've heard from a few sisters already who would like to participate so please contact me about joining the group.

The plan is to allow 3 hours of childcare unless you plan with the other sister to increase or decrease the hours needed on your particular day. If you plan to go during the weeknights just please keep that in mind that sisters will have to get their own children to bed for school the next day. I am encouraging a 5-8 or 6-9pm shifts. That way you can attend an endowment session at 5:30, 6:00, or 6:30 and be back in time to get your children.

Another point to bring up is how many children are you willing to watch during your swap? Some sisters can only handle so many and others may just take as many as needed. So when you contact me please let me know what you can handle. I am also not going to turn away sisters who don't have children at home and would like to help other sisters in the ward watch their children so if you fall into this category please let me know that your interested and how many and the ages that you can handle as well.
