We want to let you know that Pauline Berger's husband died yesterday after a battle with throat cancer. Laurie went to see her last night. She doesn't want any meals, but I'm sure would love to hear from those who know her and love her in the ward. There will be no service.
Also, as was mentioned yesterday.... Bess Moore is having a new floor put in her home. This will make it easier for Leland to get around in his wheelchair. Anyone able to help Bess pack up items this Tuesday the 14th, please email carlsbad1rs@gmail.com

Tuesday, August 21st, Stake Presidents Fireside for youth and their parents 7:00pm at the Stake Center in the cultural hall. Nice casual dress. The topic is "Over Coming Addictions" by a GREAT speaker! Our Stake Presidencey feels very strongly that all youth 12 and up attend. No mutual activities that week.
